Guardianship In Nevada
Guardianship is a legal process managed by the court system wherein an individual is given the legal right to make decisions for another person. A guardianship is appropriate when the court determines that a need exists to aid a person who cannot manage his or her property, provide self-care or authorize medical treatment due to advanced age, mental illness, mental deficiency, disease, or incapacitation. There are two types of guardianship for these individual: Guardianship of the Person and Guardianship of the Estate.
